This week, on a run, I thought about what I would do if no one else mattered.
Where would I go? What would I do? How would I live?
I also thought about all the people I admire and how many of them have at least one big story. Some pivotal moment which changed their lives.
When I got back from my run I wrote down all the pivotal moments in my life. The big risks I took.
It became apparent to me that each pivotal change moment in my life followed closely behind a big risk.
On today's podcast I talk about those risks, why they were pivotal, why it's important to get out of your comfort zone, and how being in discomfort can create the space you need to change.

New Years hype? Let’s go! If you don’t like goal setting and the “New Year New Me” bs, that’s ok. You have full permission to not set any goals for 2024.
But I love it.
Goal setting is not about the goal.
It’s about the process.
It’s what you learn along the way.
Even if you fail at that goal, it’s irrelevant.
Setting goals propels you forward.
Goals are compasses.
They give us a new direction and it’s that journey that teaches us more about what we truly want and who we are.
So buckle up if you want to set goals, fail high, and have the best f*cking year yet!
(P.S. goal setting and sticking to it is highly relevant to bulimia and binge eating recovery… just wait.)

Next: those overly abundant, every-freakin-where, irresistible holiday treats. I’ll dive into how to enjoy these seasonal favorites without letting them take over your diet. It’s all about balance and enjoying the special moments without overindulging.
We’ll also discuss setting healthy boundaries with people that trigger the hell out of you.
Lastly, we focus on focusing on things other than food. Like time off, loved ones, reflection, and whatever else you do this time of year. The holidays aren’t just about food.
